Wenzi（文子）

Wenzi (文子) is the author of the works Zai (Being) and Sheng (Becoming) and the originator of Zai-Sheng Thought. “Wenzi” is the author’s pen name.

Being begins from being itself rather than the conditions of human recognition. Becoming speaks from happening itself, so that being is not imagined as an inert backdrop to which movement is later added. Persons, awareness, questioning, the writing of the books and their being read are all within the happening they describe. The distinct works illuminate each other through the relation “its becoming is its being.”
